Bling-a-ring-ding...

… and so the sweet calm of Christmas is upon us (hopefully), and it's just so nice to feel the tempo slowing down. I'm really grateful for all the nice things I've been given, and enjoying time with my family and friends up north. A couple of my familymembers are wondering what they are going to do with the money they were given for Christmas, and so I thought about giving you guys some ideas; here's an editorial I did for SVAMagazine which features Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen's Jewelry Collection called "Snakes" which was launched this year as a privilege to their 50 Years Anniversary. The whole team were stunned by the beauty of the collection, and I felt really honoured to be working with gems as delicate as these! Even if I REALLY look forward to Christmas...

...I also look forward to next spring! It makes me think back about this year, and things that were published. For example; this editorial we did this spring, and were lucky to get printed in the Norwegian fashion magazine for youngsters;  Det Nye -this autumn.

Winter Wonderland starts with a photoshoot...

Working as a hairstylist leads you into quite a lot of different jobs from time to time -though it's always in some way a creative sense to it, the Art Direction that follows always lead me both into new ways of working, and different people to work with. This time it truly was the start of Winter Wonderland, as Swix Magazine wanted to make a special something with two of Norways most profiled ski legends as an opening to the season's World Championship; Aksel Lund Svindal and Marit Bjørgen -enjoy!

Sometimes...

… inspiration is given through a word, sentence, poem or an image. very often, I like to pick inspiration from non-visually things -it leaves you with just the feel of it. In many ways you can connect inspiration and feel in many ways -some are more often used as they're historically strong and has a lot of that historic "weightness"attached to it. As the word "MUSE" -which if you look that upon the web, it will lead you to a L-O-T of articles, imageries and of course; editorials; yet is this a little "old" but as the word being much much older; I find it worthy to post to you guys; if you'll have a close look, the hair is different from image to image, and setting to setting -can you get the feel of that…? Love it…

I had to...

... deal with the fact that I needed press pictures of myself -who would have guessed I would reach such a point? As I've been working within the industry for almost a decade now, it might just be the time...?:) I love working with the making of pictures,but I'm not so fond of being in front of the camera myself, but... ;) Anyway; here's one of them -hope you like it!:)
